The exhibition «My Mother Was a Computer» explores how artificial intelligence is changing the world.
Artificial intelligence is one of the most pressing topics in the development of new technologies. Despite active discussion of machine learning, neural networks, and related topics in the expert community and the media, as well as the widespread use of these technologies in everyday life, most users still don't understand their essence. The goal of this exhibition is to simply and engagingly explain the complex processes underlying AI, explain the preconditions for its emergence, and present the works of contemporary artists exploring various ontologies of artificial intelligence—as a co-author, performer, and mediator of new realities and ethical questions.
