«Final Adjustment» in the Tretyakov gallery 27.04.2018 - 22.08.2018

At the exhibition "Art of the 2000s" you can see the installation by Aristarkh Chernyshev "Final Adjustment" 2003

It is the museum’s first experience in trying to get insight into the processes that were going on in Russian art of the early 21st century.

The project will showcase the diversity of ideas and practices that emerged in that period: non-spectacular art, relational aesthetics, Simulationism, social projects and political actions associated with a new generation of artists.

About 100 works are scheduled for exhibiting, including paintings, graphic works, objects, installations, videos. Specially for the exhibition, a number of installations and objects will be recreated. Afterwards, within the framework of the program “Art Patrons and Donors Contributing to the Tretyakov Gallery,” those items may be included in the Gallery’s collection.
