Data leak. 2006 Data Leak is a crossover of conceptual art, design and media art. After digitizing, traditional data such as text, image or music, can be represented and re-mixed in thousands of ways. Old, pre-digital cultural artifacts: books, photographs and analogue audio records, more than ever gain a symbolic meaning as custodians of "real culture". Therefore, such artifacts require a proper, respectful ways of storing and presenting them that would accentuate their increased importance. Data Leak is an art piece in itself, but also an advanced bookshelf whose role is to reconsile old and new culture, to represent importance of classic literature in a modern world.
